The structured investment process

Each management method is subject to a specific investment process

The management methods have individual performance and risk targets, for which a precisely defined, structured investment process has been developed and implemented.

The investment process is based on the results or the fundamental and quantitative research of the capital market analysis of BANTLEON BANK AG. This is used as a basis for risk-weighted earnings forecasts for various investment horizons and these forecasts are continuously examined (at least on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis) at the regular Investment Committee meetings and are adjusted if necessary.

All forecasts are subject to tight forecasting controlling. This process includes quantifying and assessing accuracy and quality in order to be able to deal with any undesirable developments at an early stage.

The most important events for developments on bond markets in the previous week and their consequences for the short-term and medium-term fundamental and quantitative market environment are summarised each week by analysts in the »Financial Market Monitor«.

The results summarised in the Financial Market Monitor form the basis for investment decisions

The Financial Market Monitor is made available to members of the Investment Committee meetings at the end of a trading week and provides the basis for decisions of Investment Committee meetings. At the end of a meeting, the decision-makers summarise the key points of the fundamental and quantitative assessment in a »Strategic Outlook«.

The results of the Investment Committee meetings and the resulting fund alignments are documented in the »Management Monitor« and sent to the investors together with the Financial Market Monitor and the Strategic Outlook. Fund investors with a certain volume invested gain an insight into strategic interest forecasts and studies of special topics relating to yield. These investors also have the opportunity to keep themselves informed about events affecting markets and publications with the immediate analyses provided by BANTLEON BANK AG.
